Time4Paws Terms and Conditions
Time4paws main priority is to provide a safe, secure, relaxed and happy environment for all dogs, as far as is reasonably possible. We are licensed by East Suffolk District Council for daycare and home boarding for a maximum of 6 dogs at any one time, plus our family dogs. A copy of the licence can be seen on request. We have been given a 5* rating by the Council, as per the new Animal Welfare Regulations 2018 which came into effect on 1st October 2018. Prior to any booking being considered an initial visit to Time4paws must be arranged, as only dogs considered to be well socialised, and who enjoy the company of other dogs and people are suitable to stay at Time4paws. It is also very important to us that you like our set up and facilities and that you feel 100% happy leaving your dog in our care. This visit is also to ensure that we can make an accurate initial assessment regarding the suitability of a dog (such as its social behaviour, compatibility with the resident dogs, energy levels, suitability for off lead walks and check for any signs of aggression or unsociable habits) and is for the benefit of all dogs who stay at Time4paws. Once a dog has been accepted by Time4paws an honest and detailed registration form  (one per dog) should then be submitted, along with an up to date copy of the dogs vaccination certificate. Please be aware that by the very nature of the service we provide there are certain risks involved when dogs are put in an unfamiliar environment, interact with other dogs and meet new people. Therefore, by completing and signing our registration form you are agreeing to our following terms and conditions: Any changes to a registration form (contact details, behavioural issues etc) should be advised in writing. No dog listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 or the Dangerous Wild Animal Act 1976 will be accepted at Time4paws. All dogs must be microchipped. All dogs must have an up to date vaccination certificate, a copy of which must be provided with the registration form and on annual renewal. This must include cover for: Canine Distemper, Infectious Canine Hepatitis, Canine Parvovirus, Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Even though every effort is made to ensure a safe and clean environment at Time4paws any dog could still contract Kennel Cough and Time4paws will not be held responsible. The last vaccination of the initial course must be completed at least two weeks prior to the first date of visiting Time4paws. All dogs must have regular and up to date veterinary approved worm, flea and tick treatment. Time4paws is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged toys, leads, collars, beds, tags, clothing or any other item left with a visiting dog. Owners are liable for all damages and subsequent costs or claims to any property of Time4paws, if caused by their dog whilst visiting. For the duration of their stay at Time4paws, all dogs will wear a collar ( if not provided ) and a tag stating they’re in Time4paws care. These collars and tags remain at the property of Time4paws. Dogs will be walked off lead whilst with Time4paws, unless an owner specifically requests otherwise or a dog’s behaviour off lead is considered unsuitable. Time4paws has Public Liability insurance cover and a copy of the certificate is available to see at the premises or on request. Any dogs displaying signs of aggressive or unsociable behaviour (possessiveness, excessive barking,  sexual harassment, marking etc), may be isolated until such time as they can be collected. If necessary, Time4paws reserves the right to use a local kennel facility, at the owner’s expense, for such isolation. Time4paws reserves the right to refuse or terminate the contract of any dog, or owner, who displays aggressive, destructive or unreasonable behaviour including obsessive urinating at the property, and there will be no refund for any dogs that have their stay terminated early. Time4paws reserves the right to refuse any dog to visit at any time, without prior warning. Time4paws approved vets are Orwell Veterinary Group, Kesgrave. Time4paws do not accept any responsibility for the death, loss, injury or illness of a dog whilst in their care. Owners are strongly advised to make sure their dogs are insured for all eventualities. In the event of a dog being injured or involved in an accident or emergency, Time4paws will make every endeavour to contact the owner and/or their emergency contact, to inform them of the situation and for their instructions. If the owner cannot be reached but veterinary treatment is required, the dog will be taken to either the owner’s veterinary practice or Time4paws approved vet, whichever is closest. Full responsibility for the medical treatment and costs, including mileage and time, of any injuries or illness that a dog receives, will be the owners and such costs will be reimbursed immediately before collection of the dog. Dogs showing signs of disease or illness will not be acceptd at Time4paws. However, if a dog should become ill during their visit, it will be isolated from any other dogs until veterinary advice is obtained from Time4paws approved vets. Any resulting actions, including mileage and time, will be at the full expense of the owner and must be settled before collection of the dog. Owners must provide all food with full feeding instructions for any dogs that require feeding during day care or for dogs staying overnight. If insufficient food is supplied, Time4paws will purchase more, endeavouring to get the same brand, however, this plus any delivery or mileage costs will be at the owner’s expense. Owners must provide all medication, with full dosage and administration instructions, for any dogs that require medication during their stay. If insufficient medication is supplied, Time4paws will purchase more, from their approved vets, however, this plus any costs, including mileage and time, will be at the owner’s expense. On confirmation of a booking, a non refundable 50% deposit will be due with immediate effect, via BACS transfer to confirm the booking. (or cash at the initial meet and greet).  Balance fees are then due for payment 1 week commencement of booking, via BACS transfer or Cash payment. If a booking is cancelled within 7 days of the start of a booking, there will be no refund and the full balance fee will still be payable. Time4paws reserves the right to make changes to these terms and conditions, their opening hours and prices at any time, without prior notification. It is the owner’s responsibility to check them on a regular basis.
